Fridays on the Jeep® Blog, we’re featuring some of our favorite concept vehicles. This week, check out the 2013 Jeep Wrangler Mopar® Recon concept model.
Just like our last Concept Friday post, today’s vehicle was first introduced at the 2013 Moab Easter Jeep Safari. The Jeep Wrangler Mopar® Recon is based on a 2013 Jeep Wrangler and features several Mopar additions.
The exterior of the Wrangler Mopar Recon includes Mopar front and rear half-door and window kits, LED headlamps and rock rails, to add to the vehicle’s off-roading capabilities.
Also adding to the off-roading capabilities is a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine, providing the vehicle with 470 horsepower. The Wrangler Mopar Recon uses Dana 60 front and rear axles and 39-inch off-road tires.
Inside, the vehicle features Mopar slush mats, grab handles and a trailside winch kit.
