Jeep® Concept Friday – 2013 Jeep Wrangler Flattop Concept

Fridays on the Jeep® Blog, we’re featuring some of our favorite concept vehicles. This week, check out the 2013 Jeep Wrangler Flattop concept model.

The Jeep Wrangler Flattop concept made its debut at the Easter Jeep Safari last year. Under the hood, the Wrangler Flattop has a 3.6L V8 engine and stock suspension. However, the updated interior and exterior features make it one of the most offroad-ready rides.

One of the first things you’ll notice about the Jeep Wrangler Flattop concept is the roofline. The roof was brought down two inches and fitted with a single piece hardtop. The other major standout on this vehicle is the 37-inch offroad-ready tires.

The hood of the Jeep Wrangler Flattop concept was inspired by the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition, as were the front and rear bumpers. The Wrangler Flattop concept also received a few Mopar® parts, including an exhaust and cold air intake.

Inside, the vehicle featured black leather seats with the same copper-colored accents that were featured around the grille. This gave the Jeep Wrangler Flattop concept a more upscale design.

If you have a favorite concept vehicle you’d like to see featured in our next Concept Friday post, let us know in the comments section below!
