Well, the 2011 Chicago Auto Show was a blast, and we hope some of you guys were able to make it out to say hi. As you’re all probably aware, the Jeep brand was there in full force, along with some killer examples from our 2011 vehicle lineup. Biggest show in the country or not, we’re confident we easily had the coolest attraction there: our full-scale trail ride, set up completely indoors in our corner of Chicago’s McCormick Place. This off-road terrain course was perfectly tailored to both drop the jaws of passersby and show off the prowess of our vehicles, and boy did people take notice.

We were wowing auto show attendees by offering free trail rides in Jeep brand vehicles, making sure to shake, twist and push them to the limits. It’s safe to say our point was well taken, as people were stepping out with looks of sheer awe on their faces, amazed that they just experienced a Wrangler tipped 30 degrees without it breaking a sweat, climbing impossibly steep grades with ease or twisting its axles in opposite directions. The message was clear and simple: if there’s even the slightest chance it can be done, our vehicles can do it.

Anyway, it was a fantastic time, but now we’ve got to start getting ready for the next event. As we’ve warned you, 2011 is an important anniversary year for us, and we plan to keep pulling out all the stops. Hopefully our presence in Chicago gives you guys an idea of just what we have in mind. So buckle up, everybody – this year’s going to be big, and it’s just getting started!
