Don’t you just love looking through old family photos? We sure do, and that’s what we’ve been doing here on the Jeep® brand blog, and we’re inviting you to take a trip down memory lane with us as we share historical pictures and ads from throughout the years.

You might recognize some of the old ads – and maybe you even owned some of the vehicles we’re featuring. For example, check out this 1960 advertisement for the CJ-6, highlighting its longer frame and additional cargo space. The CJ-6, a unique spin on the CJ series, combined the renowned Jeep brand frame with a pickup style bed in the back, offering drivers a little bit of everything. Anyone here ever owned one? Better yet, anyone still own one?

It’s no secret that we’re celebrating our 70th anniversary this year, and though we couldn’t be more pleased with who we are today, we’re pretty darn proud of the Jeep brand vehicles that blazed the trail for us in the early days.
