Moab Day 4!
It’s day four of the Jeep Easter Safari here at Moab, Utah. The barren and forbidden environment is separated by the Colorado and Green river’s as they cut a swath though the tall monolith rock formations while tall sweeping sand dunes, boulders as big as houses and picture postcard snow capped mountains dot the scenic landscape. The backdrop is very reminiscent of a Western cowboy film.
Here we’ve brought our off-roading war chest of six new “Moparized” vehicles ready to tackle the treacherous Moab terrain. Jim Repp, our on-site Jeep® engineer has the “tough” job of driving these great vehicles and interacting with the other off-road enthusiasts in attendance.
“These vehicles are SWEET! A 6.4 Hemi manual trans in a Wrangler is SICK!
After the introductions and lunch, we hit the trails again! We decided to run the Steel Bender trail. When we got there and found a nice 6.1 Hemi Jeep waiting at the entrance” exclaimed Jim. “We got out of the trail just after dark – 6 hours, and it just started to rain. Oops, no windows for the soft top! Our newly appointed Chief Engineer for Wrangler was in a bone stock Rubicon to see what it could do.”
We are pumped that you are having such a great time in Moab Jim, keep sending us those photos so we can feel like we’re there too.
