Ah, the ‘80s. It’s safe to say that most companies hadn’t yet realized that commercials could be used to present personality or character, but rather to just raise awareness for their products with the public. While we certainly tried to produce some clever, enjoyable commercials, we’re guilty on this straightforward commercial for the 1984 Jeep® Cherokee. We trimmed off all fat and simply explained exactly why the award-winning Jeep Cherokee belonged in your driveway. This commercial is another important step in our history, presented to you guys in our series of vintage Jeep brand ads that we’ve assembled for our 70th anniversary.
