Friday the 13th is typically seen as a day of “bad luck.” Whether or not you’re on the lookout for black cats and spilled salt shakers today, we’ve come up with a list of tips to help you have a great day with the help of your Jeep® brand vehicle.
DON’T: Drive under a ladder.
Some people think going under a ladder is bad luck, which is fine because your Jeep® brand vehicle probably won’t fit anyway.
DO: Spend the day on the trails.
It’s a great way to spend the weekend and there’s no chance of accidentally spilling a salt shaker out there.
DON’T: Leave embers burning.
Some say it’s bad luck, we say it’s not eco-friendly. Tread lightly and take care of the environment while you’re out there.
DON’T: Spot a bat in your house.
According to superstition, it’s bad luck to see a bat in your house. That’s alright; we think they’re way more fun to watch right after sunset after a day of off-roading anyway.
DO: Put the hardtop up (if it rains).
If it’s bad luck to open an umbrella inside, put the hard top up in the garage to stay dry. That way you can forget the umbrella altogether.
DON’T: Step on cracks.
In fact, skip the sidewalks and pavement altogether. Go off-road instead.
If you don’t buy into any of these superstitions, that’s fine with us. Spend a day on the trails anyway and have a great weekend. If you’ve already got plans that involve your Jeep brand vehicle, share them below in the comments section!
