We’re getting closer and closer to Jeep® Jamboree season, and if you’re on the fence about whether or not you should come out this year, maybe you should listen to what Wrangler-owner Julie Helmer had to say about her first Jamboree experience. Helmer and her husband purchased a Wrangler in September of last year and bolted on a modest lift and a set of 33-inch tires. While her husband was thrilled about getting out and putting his Jeep brand vehicle to the test, Mrs. Helmer wasn’t so sure. We’ll let her take it from here.

“I did not want to spend two days in a Jeep® brand vehicle in the woods. My idea of “roughing” it outdoors is camping in our RV, but I didn’t want to let my husband down by making him go alone. So I went, fully expecting to have the worst weekend of my life. I have never been so wrong! I had an absolute blast and the time flew by so quick I didn’t want it to be over.”

Mr. Helmer even came away with a trophy for his exploits over the weekend, and they’re both hooked on taking the path less traveled.

“We went out yesterday and purchased another Jeep® brand vehicle just for me! A really pretty blue one that looks girlie. I am so determined now to tackle the trails with my own vehicle. Pretty cool how one dreaded weekend can change a City girl into a Jeep® brand vehicle girl.”
