We want to know: What was your best memory of the summer? Tell us in the comments section.

Did you get to hit your favorite trail on a perfect, sunny, summer day? Did you finally get around to modifying your Jeep® brand vehicle? Did you go camping and off-roading with friends and family? Did you get to actually relax for a change? Let us know!

As for the Jeep Blog, well, we sure had a big summer. We kicked it off with Ultimate Adventure 2012, the grueling 1,000-mile trek through all types of trails, on and off the road. Then, it was time for some hoops. The 2012 Jeep Wrangler Altitude edition was the official vehicle of USA Basketball and in partnership, we held events all over the country. On a bustling corner in New York City, we set up a court for the “Power by Design” event, featuring a couple of basketball stars and a free-throw shooting contest.

In Las Vegas, for the USA Basketball exhibition game in July, we awarded the winners of the Jeep “6th Man” Contest with checks for charity during a special on-court presentation. We officially kicked off “Heritage Fridays” on the Jeep Blog. Each Friday, we’re highlighting a vehicle from our rich history, and we started it off with the original, the 1940 Jeep Willys Quad Prototype.

As busy as our summer was, the fall promises to be even more action-packed, beginning with our coverage of the Laurel Highlands Jeep Jamboree. Look for photos, videos, interviews and more in the coming weeks as we head out on the trails with some great Jeep brand enthusiasts.

That about wraps up some of our favorite memories of the summer. What were some of your favorite memories or experiences this summer? Sound off in the comments section!
