2005 Jeep® Brand Hurricane Concept Back In The Spotlight

We love auto shows. While the events allow us to show off our newest models and meet Jeep brand fans from all over the world, they’re also an excuse to turn our designers and engineers loose to come up with some wild concepts. In 2005, that resulted in one of the meanest vehicles to ever roll out of our design studios – the Hurricane Concept. Designed to be the most powerful and maneuverable Jeep vehicle ever produced, the Hurricane came to the stage packing two 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engines with a combined power rating of 670 horsepower and 740 pound-feet of torque.

The concept also packed a full 20 inches of suspension travel for articulating over any obstacle and some incredible approach and departure angles. Right now, you can get up close and personal with the Hurricane Concept at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. For the full photo gallery, click here.
