Jeep unveiled two special models at this year’s LA Auto Show, starting with the most luxurious vehicle to ever carry the brand badge – the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit. From its special edition Rugged Brown paint and 20-inch aluminum wheels to a gamut of technology and high-quality materials inside, the newest edition to the Grand Cherokee family is unlike any of its predecessors. Inside, designers used Black Olive burlwood trim along the doors and instrument panel, and covered the seats in high-quality vented Nappa leather with contrasting piping and stitching. The Grand Cherokee Overland Summit also bowed with plenty of tech, including adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and cross-path detection, just to name a few systems

But the spacious SUV wasn’t the only star in Los Angeles this year. We also brought along the 2011 Jeep Liberty Jet. The aggressive appearance package is now available on all Liberty Sport and Limited models, adding 20-inch polished aluminum wheels and plenty of chrome trim to one of the most attractive compact SUVs on the market. Along with the new bright work, the Liberty Jet also flaunts new blacked-out headlamps for a little more menace than the standard model. The interior boasts a 9-speaker sound system and a standard security package with rear park assist and side-curtain airbags.
