Engineers’ Log: Moab EJS Day 6 & 7

Moab Easter Jeep® Safari: Day 6

So we meet again. Today marks the 6th day of our visit here in Moab. We’ve successfully taken over town, and transformed this dusty desert into a Jeep® brand mecca. It’s hard to believe how quickly time is passing right now, as they say “time flies when your having fun” and that couldn’t be more true of our experience here. Today we focused on some trail rides; we enjoyed leading the trail on Fins-N-Things, which was very scenic and had a couple fun obstacles. For lunch we returned to town to share in the big excitement of the two new Jeep products that were launched today at the New York auto show—the Jeep Wrangler Mojave and the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT! After lunch we hit the trails again and basically wheeled until dusk. Now we’re tired… but a good tired. Logging off for now. Stay tuned for more.

Moab Easter Jeep® Safari: Day 7

It’s been a week here in Moab and to our dismay, it will be time to pack up and head home tomorrow. We’ve been keeping really busy and as we already said it makes the time pass fast – a little too fast. Today was another killer day, although it was cut a short by a sudden sandstorm. Fortunately, the storm hit us later in the afternoon; we could have stayed out all night playing.

Today we finally took the Moab Rim Trail. We brought three stock Jeep Wrangler’s with us and they had no problems getting up. At the top we had the pleasure of meeting folks from Texas, California, Utah, Colorado, and Mississippi. It’s so great to have so many Jeep® lovers here at the event. We tested both the two-door and four-door up the hill, the four-door went with no problems whatsoever, but it took us some maneuvering with the two-door. Not to worry though, she made it.

It’s hard to believe this event is already coming to an end, it’s been such a great week. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to next year. In the meantime, keep watching out for more content from Moab!
