Most of you have Monday off from work and rightfully so – Memorial Day is a sacred holiday in America, as our way of life today is a direct result of the sacrifices that our fallen servicemen and women made. The Jeep Blog hopes that you and your family and friends stay safe, have fun, and take time out to recognize and honor the U.S. Military over the weekend.

Memorial Day Parades are great family events and a fun way to honor the National Guard and local servicemen. You’ll probably get to see old Jeep military vehicles parading down the street, still in action, ready to take on any challenge or obstacle just as they did several decades ago.

This weekend is also a great time to jumpstart the off-roading season, if you haven’t done so already. It goes without saying that you should hit the trail heads early. But no matter where you take your Jeep_® brand vehicle this weekend, have fun. Enjoy the official summer kick-off.
